Kepelbagaian Makroinvertebrat Bentik di Sungai Jeriau, Bukit Fraser, Pahang, Malaysia

Sungai Jeriau ialah sungai yang tidak terganggu oleh aktiviti antropogen dan dipercayai mempunyai kualiti air baik serta kepelbagaian biologi akuatik tinggi. Oleh itu suatu kajian telah dijalankan untuk menilai komuniti makroinvertebrat bentik di tersebut mengenal pasti berpotensi sebagai penunjuk ekosistem tanah Persampelan dilakukan pada bulan April 2020 sebanyak sembilan stesen disampel mewakili salah satu anak bersambung dengan Sg. Jeriau. Makroinvertebrat menggunakan jaring Surber pengukuran in-situ parameter kekonduksian, pepejal terlarut (TDS), pH, halaju air, suhu oksigen (DO) meter YSI 885. Berdasarkan kepada piawaian kebangsaan (NWQS), didapati berada dalam kelas I semua dikaji. Ujian Kruskal-Wallis menunjukkan kebanyakan berbeza bermakna antara persampelan (p<0.05, α=0.05) kecuali suhu. Sejumlah 3085 individu terdiri daripada 1 filum, 2 kelas, 8 order 52 famili direkodkan kawasan kajian. Kawasan didominasi Elmidae Scirtidae (Order:Coleoptera), Baetidae Heptageniidae (Order:Ephemeroptera), Hydropsychidae Perlidae (Order:Trichoptera) diikuti Tipulidae, Chironomidae Simulidae (Order:Diptera). Purata nilai Indeks Kepelbagaian Shannon (H’) adalah 2.56±0.17, Keseragaman Pielou (J) (0.76±0.09), Kekayaan Margalef, DMg (4.99±1.72) Reciprocal Berger-Parker (4.54±1.51) sederhana tertekan baik. Nilai rendah disebabkan pendominasian beberapa seperti atas pengiraan aras hirarki taksonomi tinggi iaitu famili. Variasi kelimpahan besar lebih 70%, ujian CCA pengaruh terhadap Elmidae, Baetidae.
